2007 was the best ever for AcSoft, building on a rapidly growing customer base, making us one of the leading players in the UK instrumentation market for sound & vibration!

 

Svantek goes from strength to strength, and their range of DSP-based instruments is second to none. The latest updates for the 958 four-channel instrument includes WAV signal recording in four channels to a plug-in USB memory stick.

 

Sinus is a new name in the catalogue, and we now offer their SoundBook system, which offers 1-8 channels of analysis, in a rugged PC-based platform. The Samurai software performs all the usual things like real-time analysis, FFT, signal recording, sound level meter, vibration meter, and even video!

Additional options cover sound intensity, sound power and pass-by applications

 

The Acoustic Camera has been a great success, with several large automotive clients immediately seeing the benefit of fast acoustic imaging, for troubleshooting and vehicle refinement. But the camera continues to surprise us in what it can be used for, and we have one system in the UK available for rental, and it has already been used in consultancy projects for environmental noise emission.

 

Our relationship with Dytran has gone from strength to strength, and their range of accelerometers and hammers is now extra good value, especially with the exchange rate with the US dollar
